You DO think I'm beautiful, don't you, Charlie Brown? ... You didn't answer me. You had to think about it first. Didn't you? If you really didn't have to think about it you would've answered me right away. I know when I've been insulted. I KNOW WHEN I'VE BEEN INSULTED.

Would You Join My Virtual Book Club?
I'm thinking about starting a virtual book club on my blog. I'd take suggestions for reading material and then have a discussion about a month after selecting a book. If I were to do this, would you join me? I mean, I can read on my own, but the discussion with myself seems a little silly. It's only fun if my virtual friends and lurkers join in. Whadaya say? Wanna join a book club? (Mom -- this includes you too!)

My friend Kim (in my ward here in oregon) just started doing this. It has been great for me because of my schedule and Nate's schedule, it is hard for me to go to alot of extra activities in the evening, book club being one of them. I think it is a great idea.
YES YES YES. Me too, Me too. It seems like all of my friends are in a book club and I want to be part of one too. I just never have the luxury of leaving the house for these things (It just doesn't top my other "freedom" priorities). What book are you going to start with?
P.S. I still owe you ice cream. When are you free? I'm "off sugar" this week, but this would be, "following through on an agreement" so it wouldn't be breaking the rules if I'm eating it for you (wink, wink)
OH, I'm too crazy to remember to come to a book club meeting even on the rare occasion that I am free, but I would LOVE to be part of on online one where I actually knew some of the people. Count me IN
I would love to join in, but just so you know, I might pop in and out depending on the book :) !!
Plus, I only want to read dirty books.... ha ha
becky totally stole my line ~but i am game for it. this is the only way i can imagine working in such a club
This will be better for my schedule too and we can read dirty books that An Ordinary Mom skips. Ha Ha! Seriously though, I read books that some people would self-sensor. If I choose a book you don't like for any reason, I'll be interested in comments about why. It will just add dimension to the discussion. Yay! Now I'll have to think about how to pick the books.
oooh! can i join too?
and i third the motion on the dirty books... :)
lisa bailey, you know, ann's old pallie-wallie...
The book skipping is more about not finding the time to read versus the content of said books ... I'm just saying :) !!
yes, i'm in. no offense to my ward, but limiting us to only reading sheri dew is a little boring imo.
I'm so excited you will all join. I have to figure out which book to start with. I may select a few and see how you all like them. Give me a day or two to figure it out and we'll be on our way.
